"Warm light, strong colors and flowing movement are dominant in my figure paintings. Many of the figures are dancing women .
Over the past several years I have been visiting my family in Cabo San Lucas and in Mexico City.
The vivid warm colors of fabrics and the vital people of Mexico are the inspiration of many of my paintings. I combine this exciting atmosphere with ethnic elements of the Middle East that I am familiar with in Israel.
The figures are placed in an imaginary space, while the movements of the figures (women) are realistic.
I am fascinated by the relationship between light and color.
In some paintings I convey the way the light blurs and changes colors and the contour of elements."
