Painting a flower as a metaphor allows me to create many situations of light and color.
Inspired by the strong Israeli light I paint large oil paintings of single colorful flowers. Red and yellow are the dominant colors in my floral paintings.
Using the effects of the strong light I create an experience of light within the canvas.
Sometimes I flood the painting with so much light that it blurs the images.
