Over the past years, artists all over the world have reproduced their paintings on canvas or watercolor paper by a printing method called Giclée. This method allows much larger prints than traditional size, and look more like original art than anything that has ever been done before. The Giclée prints are more expensive than conventional printmaking, but still they are not as expensive as original art. This might explain why Giclées are so popular. Since they are copies and not originals, their
value is decorative.
The process of Giclée printing is much like the prints one might produce on an inkjet home-printer, except that the printers used for Giclees are capable of printing large format images on canvas, using sometimes as many as fourteen colors. The results are pictures of rich and vibrant colors.
My Giclee prints are for sale. They are copies of my original paintings, now available as small, medium, or very large Giclee prints.
If you have seen a picture you like in my Giclee gallery please contact me for further details.
